How to Enjoy a Bar-B-Q in the Dead of Winter: The Simplest Recipe

Winter BBQ? Why Not!
It's February and here in the Northwest it's been raining since September. I'm jonesing for some BBQ but I'm not going outdoors for anything!
Hardware for Winter BBQ
DON'T BEING THE CHARCOAL GRiLL INSIDE! The carbon monoxide is a killer.
But we can do this with a little electricity and a Slow Cooker (aka Crock Pot). You probably got three of them as wedding gifts - check out the attic.
The Simplest Winter BBQ Recipe
I hate to call this a "recipe" really. Two ingredients. TWO! Nice thing about that is it's bullet-proof. There's no possible way for this to go wrong!
INGREDIENTS
A couple pounds of Country Style Pork Ribs. I use bone-in; the marrow adds some flavor
A bottle of your favorite BBQ Sauce. I'm currently partial to Sweet Baby Rays' Hickory Honey
THE PROCESS
A splash of oil in the Slow Cooker to keep the ribs from sticking.
Stack the ribs, rotating each layer 90 degrees.
Dump in a bottle of your favorite BBQ Sauce.
Turn the cooker on "High" and come back in an hour.
Turn the cooker to "Low".
Come back in three hours.
Using tongs, "rotate" the ribs. Bring the ones on the bottom up to the top. Because they've been touching each other they haven't cooked evenly.
Come back in another four hours and dig in!
Waiting Around: The Key to Success
It's an 8 hour process but mostly you do other stuff and wait for these super tender ribs.
